My Role as a UX Researcher

 

One of my responsibilities is conducting client interviews to develop exclusive commercial advertisements for premium clients, which is done in the following steps:
  • In-Depth Research: Conducted thorough research on each client’s company, industry, and objectives to gain a deeper understanding.
  • Client Interviews: Followed the research with interviews of key stakeholders to gather specific insights and ensure alignment with the client’s needs.

Brandmegaphone Introduces AI-Powered Ad Copy Creation and Performance Analytics to Enhance Client Campaigns Brandmegaphone Advances to the Next Stage with AI-Powered Ad Copy Creation for Clients

Beginning in January 2024, the CEO of Brandmegaphone made the strategic decision to transition to AI-powered writing for ad creation and editing. While AI now handles both writing and editing tasks, journalists continue to provide editorial services for special clients to ensure a personalized touch.

As a Researcher at Brandmegaphone, I conduct AI user and market research, gather insights to enhance client experiences, and analyze data to optimize AI-generated ad solutions. I provide strategic recommendations, collaborate with design teams, and ensure ethical AI implementation for inclusive and effective advertising strategies.

Research Activities:

User Interviews

  • Conducted 15 in-depth interviews with Brandmegaphone clients, including marketers and small business owners
  • Gathered insights on their ad creation challenges and expectations for AI-generated content
  • Key finding: Users were hesitant to fully trust AI without some human oversight

Persona Development

  • Created three key user personas based on research insights
  • Focused on varying levels of AI adoption and preferences for human editorial support

While my role in contributing to wireframing and prototyping for app design is still pending approval, I am eager to bring the skills and knowledge I developed at Emily Carr University to the design process. Once approved, I will be involved in creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that focus on seamless functionality and user experience. I am excited about the opportunity to enhance both the usability and visual design of the app, ensuring it aligns with both user needs and business objectives.
